Wait until you meet her brother, Perseus! 💙 At just 3 months old and 12 lbs, Perseus is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle bug. When he first arrived, he was a little unsure of the world and happiest curled up in someone’s arms. Fast forward a few days, and thanks to his foster siblings, he’s discovered the joys of being a puppy! Now you’ll find him joining the pack for hikes, campfires, car rides, farm animal meet-and-greets, and even the occasional kid-approved fashion show. 🐾✨ Perseus has charmed everyone he’s met—including dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and kids—with his sweet, curious, and respectful personality. He’s doing great with potty training, loves his rope toys, and is currently navigating the classic puppy teething phase (toys are his best friend!). 🤍 Please Don’t Let Gunner Go Back 🤍 Some dogs come into rescue and find their families right away. Others wait. And wait. And somehow, despite everything, they keep loving anyway. Gunner is one of those dogs. He is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with his people. The kind of dog who looks at you like you’re his whole world. The kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much — just a soft place to lay his head, a little kindness, and someone to love. He’s house trained, wonderful with kids, and although he’s a tripod, he never lets having three legs stop him from enjoying life. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the love he’s waited so long to find. Right now, Gunner is facing the possibility of having to leave Rhode Island and return south because we have nowhere for him to go. 😭 Our hearts break for him because boarding is no place for a dog like Gunner. Day after day in a kennel isn’t a life. It’s not a family. It’s not a home. It’s not the future we hoped for this sweet boy. Gunner deserves to know what it feels like to belong to someone.
